For homeowners & trade partners
Concrete grinding

Prepare the concrete for what comes next. We scope diamond grinding, coating removal, and surface repairs for homeowners and trade partners across Wayne, Macomb, Oakland, and Washtenaw counties.
Serving Southeast Michigan
Build the scope around the next system.
Preparation is not one-size-fits-all. We review the existing surface, access, condition, and the requirements of the next floor system. Grinding, removal, and repairs are then scoped to that job, whether Notice It installs the finish or another contractor does.
Bring these details to your estimate
- Size, location, and current floor material
- Photos or information about old coatings
- Requirements for the next flooring system
- Access, power, scheduling, and other trades

Tell us what will go over the concrete
The next flooring or coating system helps determine the required surface condition. Share the installer’s or manufacturer’s preparation requirements, any existing coating information, and the condition of cracks or damaged areas. The prep scope should support the next installation.
Can I hire you for preparation only?
Yes. Concrete preparation can be a standalone scope for flooring installers, remodelers, and property owners. Notice It does not have to install the finished floor.
Can you remove any old adhesive or coating?
Unknown materials need to be identified before removal can be planned. Some adhesives or coatings may require testing or specialist handling. Share any available material history during the assessment.
Is crack repair the same as structural concrete repair?
No. Surface cracks and spalls can be reviewed for the agreed preparation scope, but structural concerns require separate assessment. The quote should identify what is being repaired and any limitations.
